International Research Group: Entrepreneurial University and Gender Change

The European academic world is undergoing a far-reaching re-organization, which fosters the higher education institutions to position themselves under the new competitive conditions. The restructuring processes cause far-going consequences for the organisation of the higher education system, for the working conditions of academic and non-academic personnel and for the scientific knowledge production. They also affect the employment situation of males and females, the knowledge production in relation to gender and the institutionalization of gender studies, as well as equal opportunities and gender policies. The International Research Group "Entrepreneurial University and Gender Change" analyses these trends from an internationally comparative perspective.
